I have Alenco windows, and the metal tip-to-metal tip is 28" long. "2740" is stamped on one end of one side, and "27C" is stamped on one end of the other side. Attached are pictures of the balances. The first 2 are one end of balance-1. The 3rd is the opposite end of balance-1. The last two are of 1 end of balance-2. Please help me identify them, so I can purchase them from you. Thanks!

Thanks for posting! It looks like you have two different balances here. Were they from the same window, or two different windows?
Before I can tell you what Series you have for either, I'll have to identify what shoes you have. Let's start with the balance whose nylon attachments have wings. Please take a look at our 15-004 and 15-005 channel balance shoes, and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-3/32" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which one more closely matches your own bottom attachment?
Now, for the balance whose attachments do not have wings. See our 15-001 and 15-002. Same deal here--take a look at their depths and see which one matches your own. Let me know!

Thanks for getting back to us. In that case, yes. I would go with a Series 385 for the balance with winged attachments and a Series 390 for the balance with non-winged attachments.
You might want to weigh your sash, as well, so that you make sure that you're getting the right option.
