WILL 82-009A WORK FOR ME

Question

DO YOU HAVE THESE SURFACE MOUNT HANDLE/LOCK ASSEMBLIES IN ALUMINUM COLOR GREY OR STAINLESS? AND DO THESE WORK ON ANY OLD SINGLE PANE SLIDER SINCE ITS SURFACE MOUNTED? WHAT DOES THE LOCK LOCK INTO/ONTO?

OR MAYBE THIS ISNT THE PART I NEED? I DONT HAVE PICS UNFORTUNATELY, BUT THE HANDLE ON THE DOOR PANEL NOW IS THE ONE THAT YOUR FINGER TIPS GO INTO, BUT ITS MUCH SHORTER THAN THE STANDARS 6 OR 7 INCH ONES, ITS PROBABLY MORE LIKE 4.5 INCHES. THATS WHY IM TRYING TO JUST USE A SURFACE MOUNT INSTEAD CAUSE I CANT FIND A HANDLE THAT SIZE. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I'm afraid we don't have the 82-009A in alternate colors. I'm not sure if it's what you have, but we have detailed photos and measurements on the 82-009A store page that you can use as a reference. Since it's a surface mounted handle, it can work for a wide variety of doors. Without photos I cannot confirm one way or the other. There is a chance you have a door which is incompatible with the 82-009A, but there's no way for me to know.
