Ideal Gap Size Between Door and Stop

What is the ideal gap size between the door and the stop for this product. I have the opportunity to set this, so I want to get it right rather than guess.

Hello! Thanks for your patience. The 58-180 projects 0.385" (~3/8"), and the manufacturer recommends between 20% and 60% compression, with 50% (~3/16") being ideal. Your gap should be around there: 3/16", but not much less.
