Identify 28" tilt balance parts
I think we can supply this balance, but we need a bit more information. Please give me the length of the metal channel, the stamp printed on the metal channel, and how many you need. We will work from there to see if it's still available.
I can at least tell you right now that the metal clip that goes into the shoe is not available. You will have to reuse your original because we won't be able to supply it. Make sure not to throw it away!
The channel is 28 inches long. I have the metal clips so that is not a problem. The only stamp on the channel edge is 28F. I will only need 1 balance. The window is only 4 years old and the left one broke because my son sneaked out of the house.
Great! Thank you. As long as you can take the metal clips off your old balance and put them on ours, you should be good to go. However, we can only supply 2 at a minimum since this is a special order. I hope that's okay. We usually recommend replacing both balances in a sash at the same time anyway.
