Identify Window Balance

Your balance has a somewhat odd configuration. It looks to be a match for our S395-27 at first glance, but I'm not sure if this will work. Look it over and see what you think. My hope is that your balance is just an older version but I'm just not sure. See what you think.

What stamp option do I use for the weight? The original stamp on my balancer is 26-3 0715 VBS.
You have been a big help! Thank you!!

Thanks for confirming that! The size of the top and bottom fittings was my main concern, since they look so much bigger than your metal channel. Our S395-27 is made with a 1/2" x 1/2" metal channel, so yours must be an older version that was made to be a little smaller. I have seen those here and there in the past, though they are admittedly uncommon and I've never actually put my hands on them, so to speak. As long as the nylon fittings are the same size, though, then you shouldn't notice a difference after it's installed.
As for the stamp option, for a stamp of 26-3 you want our 2630. For peace of mind you can also see our return policy here.

Thanks again!

Any thoughts or advise?
Thank you!

That should be fine, the length of the spring doesn't matter. Different manufacturers use different sized springs for some reason, but since you picked the 2630 option it will be charged with the same tension. You won't notice a difference.

If anyone has original balancer with the stamp of 26-3 0715 VBS the SWISCO S395-27 with the 2630 option worked great for me!
Tom I really appreciate your help and patience! This is a rare quality in todays retail environment and you exceeded my expectations! A JOB WELL DONE!!
