Hi there!

The design and dimensions of your roller appears to match our 81-030 but this has a 1-1/4" wheel which may still work for you since the roller housing can be adjusted to make up for the difference. Otherwise, you could consider swapping the wheels with our 81-223 1-1/8" wheel and 81-310 axle repair kit. Look these parts over and see what you think.

A handy person from Edisto Beach says:
Yes. The 1-1/4 wheel might work. Do you have this size in stainless?

My apologies! I'm afraid we don't have this roller in a stainless steel version. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

A handy person from Edisto Beach says:

Thanks Emily. You've been very helpful!

I knew the stainless was a long shot. What do you think about switching to nylon rollers? My issue is that these go on a sliding glass door that is beachfront. The tracks are exposed to salt air (and often water) and sand constantly. The metal assemblies tend to corrode and rust solid after about 6 months (as you may be able to tell from those initial pictures) Do you think that nylon wheels would hold up better? Or would the ball bearings still corrode just as quickly?

Emily from SWISCO responded:

Switching to nylon wheels would be totally fine since you live near the beach. Metal wheels are more prone to rust, especially in salt air environments, and nylon wheels don't have that problem. We don't have a 1-1/8" nylon wheel and the smallest we have is our 1-1/4" 81-228 but this should still work. Let me know what you think.
