I need to replace several balances in my home.
Most of the balances are labeled with "U B 26C". However, I found one labeled "09/29/04 Unique Balance 26C". I'm presuming that is the date of manufacturing.
The balances measure: L: 27" W: ~9/16"
The sash weight: 16.5 lb
Please let me know if any additional information is needed to identify these parts.

Hello, thank you for posting,
Please review the Series 770 channel balance that installs at the top with a screw and connects to the pivot shoe with the same terminal clip as your original.
The stamp is not matching up to the length, but if the metal channel is 27 inches long, please see the S770-27 with a 27B stamp that can support a 11 to 17 pound window sash.
