Identifying Hung Windows for replacement parts

Quick Learner from Zip 10027
We have a renovated Brownstone house in Harlem, New York, and have a number of windows with broken balances and window tilt latches (I think that's what they're called). An Andersen Window rep said the windows looked like Swisco windows....can you tell from my photos?
There are no etchings on the glass or the frames. The house was renovated in 2007 so I'm assuming the windows are 2005/2006 models. They're double hung windows.

Hello,

Our company carries generic replacement parts but we do not manufacture windows. I can't be sure with the tilt latch still installed but what I can see reminds me of the 26-462. Take a look and compare the specifications below to yours.

If you need new sash locks, we'd need you to write out the exact distance between the center of the installation holes to narrow down your options.

We would also need to see an intact balance assembly uninstalled to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

What we need are the T shaped balances that allow the windows to actually tilt.....we've got about 10 broken one

Thanks for getting back to us. Your broken pivot resembles the 26-326 at first glance. Take a look and compare the specifications below to an undamaged part to confirm.

Hi. We replaced the tilt balances but it now seems that we need to replace the channel balance (?) whatever holds the window when it's open. I've seen some channel balances on your site but can't work out which model we need, as I can't find any identifying name or number on the window itself.
I've attached some photos of the broken channel
Balance.

We can't be sure with the balance hardware still installed but your pivot shoe is a similar style to the 15-135. Take a look and compare the dimensions below to an intact part removed from the window.

As for the balances, it looks like your assembly uses a terminal clip similar to the S770 channel balances. You'll need to confirm that your assembly installs with a screw at the top as shown below. You'll also need to measure the length of the channel and locate the stamp code to choose the corresponding strength option for your replacements.

Thanks again so much. I was
Able to remove the lower portion of the window but could not remove the channel cover in order to measure the length of the channel Balance I need to order. Is there a way to determine the right length from the size of the window installed?
I measured the lower window to be 36" H and 37" W. The top window section is 37" H and 37" W

To remove the jamb liner cover, you'll need to use a screwdriver under the cover to pull it out from one side and release it from the track. Be careful since jamb line covers exposed to the sun can become brittle over time. Once the cover is removed, you'll be able to access the balances and confirm the length, stamp code, and style of the top needed for your replacements.

Do you also sell the covers if they break? They are really tough (and probably brittle) which is why I don't want to lever too hard when trying to lever them out with a screw driver, as per the video I watched. I'll try again - carefully - and maybe use some snipe nose pliers to pull up and out. Thanks.

Unforutnately, we do not carry replacement balance covers but a local hardware store may be able to supply them if needed.
