I'm having issues with window channel balance

Question

Hello,

One of my window channel balance has it spring hook off the frame. I re-installed the window so that it hooks in, but when I slide down the window, the hook is off again. I've tried many times with no success.

I'm guessing there is some issue with the channel balance (spring?) and would like to replace it.

The stamp on the balance is: 32-2 ID5 CMC 54. The picture is attached.

I'm wondering what those labels mean and if you have a substitute for that?

Hi there- thanks so much for posting!

We will need to see the balance removed from the window to be able to determine the best replacement option for you. The stamp that is printed on the metal portion of your balance indicates the spring strength "option" that you will need to select at checkout. We will just need to see a photo of the balance removed from the window, then we will be able to determine the best replacement option for you.
