Im looking to get a hold if a few parts to gove this window some tlc.

Home Owner from Phoenix Arizona

My home is close to 40 years old. And the windows were all made By a company called Heritage; at least what i think the lable i dent you may say. Heritage Now known as Andersen/heritage glass I believe, doesn't want to help me at all. I sent them similair pictures and they said their just to busy.

  1. I'm just looking for 4ea spiral Ballasts Measuring 36 inches long. Id like new ones if possible.
  2. There's one screw that goes in the top of each ballast; I could use 4 of them as well please. Plus 4 retainers that hold the bottom of the Ballast on the frame once ready to í to attach. Before, The bottom end of the ballast would continue to fall off the window where it attaches.
  3. I also need 8 of them black plastic retaining clips that goes in each of the 4 corners of the pain; once attached, it serves as a bumper or window stop that restricts the glass pane from shifting around in the frame; essential holding the Pane from falling out of Aluminum frame. Each plastic tab measure 1" x a 1/2")one small hole in the middle of it that receives a short stuby Screw attaching them all to a corner of the window.
  4. I need to find 2 bottom window seals that measures 36 inches long minimum.
  5. I also would like to have some of the furry/brush type, weather striping allowing the pane to slide up and down smoothly! Thankyou

Thanks for reaching out to us, David. We may be able to supply this spiral balance for you, but it will depend largely on exactly how it connects to the sash at the bottom corners. The unfortunate fact is that many non-tilt spiral balances just aren't made anymore and our ability to supply the older models is very limited. I'll need a clear picture of the shoe that clips to the sash in order to determine if this is something that we can help with. Would that be possible?

Concerning the black bumper that installs on the pane, that is not something that we sell. I usually recommend returning to the window manufacturer for something like this, but since they've already told you that they can't help, I'm not sure who else can. This just isn't something we'll be able to supply.

We might have the weatherstripping, but I'll need you to remove a small sample of each type you have now and show me a clear picture of the end profile. Written dimensions would also be helpful. I can then check our inventory for a possible match.
