I'm looking to replace the bolt that keeps the crank in place

Quick Learner from Minneapolis
My window crank screw mechanism, pops out when I crank it counterclockwise to close the window. Clockwise cranks to open it work fine.
Can the retaining bolt be replaced?

thanks

I'm afraid that it cannot be replaced, no. This kind of damage isn't possible to repair. You're going to need an all new operator.

We may be able to help, but I need to see a clear and unobstructed photo of the operator removed from the window so that we can match it up to something in our inventory.

It is a truth brand window I was told. If that helps and a tech just looked at it and told me the mechanisuism needs to be replaced. Do you sell truth brand replacement parts?

Yes, we sell a ton of different Truth parts. In order to check our inventory for a match, we need to see the original removed and shown in its entirety, without obstruction. That should be your next step.
