In need a of new parts for my windows

Hello,

I am in need of new parts for my windows. I have six windows that are broken, they will not stay up when I raise them, then just immediately fall back down. Please look the the pictures I uploaded for reference. I was told that the parts I need might possibly be tensioner rods. Please let me know which parts I need so the windows can be used again.

I agree that it sounds like you need replacement balances, which provide tension on both sides of the window to support the sash when it is raised and lowered.
