Install malta clips on existing screen

I too, have Malta window screens on 9 double hung window screens, where tabs broke. I watched video. My question is how to install in existing screen that doesn't need replacing. How do you insert new tab only with removing the whole screen?

You will still need to remove the screen from the area you are attaching the Malta screen clip. You would just install your old screen material back where it was when you're done.
