Installation instructions for the 23-148

I ordered the 23-148 butit seems too narrow or attached track. There were no installation instructions so I am not sure if it is the wrong hardware or I am just not installing it correctly given that I am not sure how it sould be installed.

The 23-148 is typically used for wood bi fold door tracks. Is there any way we can see a photo of the original part? That would help us find something better.

There is no original part. I'm looking for a track-mounted door stopper for the inside door so that it does not slide beyond a set point.

Ah, I see. I didn't think so. There is no actual stop for sliders like yours. You would have to rig something up yourself, like installing a small piece of angle into the header or possibly a small block of wood. Just make sure you do not damage the track or hardware.
