Installation of kerf style door seal

Question

I have some 25 year old doors with magnetic seals that need replacement. he doors themselves are metal but I have wood framing. Can I staple or nail the 58-008 set to the frame (it appears as if it will work)? The original seals are glued.

I don't think the 58-008 will work well if nailed in. I would instead recommend our 58-169, which has a nail on flange. To be honest, many people in the industry find that regular foam seal works better even than magnetic seal. Magnets tend to wear out and weaken faster than foam seal degrades.
