Installing 15-194

Question

This balance shoe matches those on our single hung Pella windows. My concern is getting the hook attached to the metal channel cover and then getting it all back into the channel.  Can I remove only the upper channel spreader before I completely replace the metal channel cover?  If not, what is the procedure?

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble visualizing what it is you're describing. The 15-195 should just snap on. Can you take a few pictures of your hardware so I can have a better idea of what the problem is?
