Installing 3/16" Insert Clips on an aluminum frame

Question

I have a Motor home where the plastic clips, that hold the aluminum screen frame in the aluminum screen door, have broken.

My question is, how do I remove the old broken clips and install new ones.

Hello,

Your old clip might be pop riveted on, instead of screwed on. You would need to drill out the old pop rivet and install our 70-072 (3/16" offset clip) with a 33-090 screw. Thank you!
