Installing Window Latch 90-293

Question

What do you do with the spring that comes with this latch. I know it's supposed to fit in the back somehow, but I can't get it to stay in. It falls out. Thank you.

Thanks for posting! You need to remove your sash, then slide the 90-293 latch into the groove under the sash handle, spring and all. Let me know if this helps!
