Installing cylinder lock on sliding glass door- which one to purchase?

A quick learner from Ann Arbor, MI says:
Inside handle- 4" between screws, 7.5" long
Outside handle- 7.25" long
Punch hole- 5/8"
Door width- between 1.25" and 1.5"

You might be able to get away with using the 82-044 exterior handle along with key housing 82-315. Take a look at the related video and see if this will work for you.
A professional from CA says:
Your existing outside pull should work because it has holes around 2-1/4" or 2-3/8". One of those along with the last hole on the opposite side should be 3-15/16" which should put the cylinder right where it needs to be.

That is the problem with 82-306.
It doesn't have that inner set of holes.
