Installing handle 40-150

A quick learner from Pennsylvania says:
The product description indicates that I can remove the insert to fit my spindle. I need to do this (otherwise, everything fits perfectly). But how do I remove it? There has to be a trick I haven't figured out! (I tried to pry it out with a screwdriver - that didn't work.)

Thanks.

Colleen, look carefully at the handle near the base. You will see a 3/32" Allen set screw. Remove that set screw with an Allen wrench; give the handle a little tap on a hard surface and the inner spacer piece should drop out.
