Installing on a dual sliding door

A home owner from California says:
Hi, I am trying to install a lock on my sliding door. Since it's a dual sliding door, would this work or can I just replace the outer handle with a lock? See pictures attached.

In some cases you can install the 82-310 key cylinder in your existing outside handle, but I'm not sure you can do it with yours. In your photos I don't see a knock out plug in your exterior handle.

I suggest ordering the 82-081 complete handle set, which comes with a key lock already. You can keep your existing handle set for parts.
