Installing the 58-164 weatherstripping

Does this part snap in or do you have to feed it from the edge of the extrusion. Tried to snap in but won't go too rigid. My old strip had an arrow type extrusion for easy insertion. Please advise thanks

Thanks for posting. The 58-164 actually feeds in from the edge.

So you are implying that you need to remove the hung window from the frame to insert correct.
There is glazing at the mitred corner interfering to the entry of the channel. Any ideas.

Ah, I see. The 58-164 may not be the best choice, then, since it is very stiff. Could I see a couple pictures of your existing seal? I'm wondering if something like our 58-182 may be better. This is softer, so you may be able to work the "T" into the slot with a putty knife or similar tool.
