Inswing Casement window botom seal weatherstripping

Quick Learner from NY
I am looking for a weatherstripping piece that will help seal the bottom of an inswing casement window. We have wind driven rain that comes through.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I don't see your weatherstrip pictured here. Can you remove an undamaged sample and show us a clear photo? The related video will detail the angle we'd like to see.

Thanks for the reply, there has never been any there, I need to add weatherstripping. In the picture I added, the weatherstripping should go between the two pieces where rain is coming through. It is not a great seal where the part of window (red circle) sits on top of wood piece (green). I am wondering which type of weather stripping would be best?

Thanks!

Thank you for clarifying that for us.  I am afraid we won't be able to help with something like this. All of the hardware we sell are meant to be used as replacements for very specific, previously existing parts. They're not meant for new applications like you describe.

That's not to say that you can't use our products, but we can't exactly make a recommendation for you. At this point, I think your best option would be to contact a local professional to see if they could adapt something to work. I am very sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
