Interior screen door handle

The handle has a hook that secure's it to the jamb. The hook is broken and needs replaced. And is there a specific way to remove the internal hardware?

It's tough to tell what you have from these photos, but look at our 83-115 Pella latch to see if this is the hook you're looking for. As for removal, the video below may be helpful to you.

The handle looks like 83-123. However it has the hook inside to lock to the door jamb.

Yes, and I believe that hook is our 83-115. Have you watched the video I posted yet? If so, let me know if you're able to get the hook out to confirm.

Yes the video was very informative. Unfortunately I am unable to get the hook out as it is broken and has fallen out of reach. I am hoping when I get the replacement part I'll be able to install it even though I cannot remove the old one. Thank you for your help!
