Internal lock system frozen

Question

The sliding door lock system is frozen. The latch and key are not able to move the internal locking system (mortise) to lock or unlock the door. The manufacturer of the sliding door is by Amerimax which I understand is not longer in business. The only numbers I can find was inside the handle part which are: CD-740 and CO-715. I have not taken out the mortise system to look for additional part numbers. Do you have a replacement part for this mortise or is it possible to install a different mortise and strike plate?

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement for the mortise lock shown in your photos. We've come across it in the past but have not able to find a match through any of our suppliers. I'm sorry we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
