I'm looking for an after-market vent lock for my vinyl double-hung windows. I don't know the brand. The house was a flip, so likely not high end. Is this the best/most secure option?Or would you recommend something else?

If your windows do not currently have vent locks, then the 26-387 is the best option we have at this time, yes. See the video below to see how they work. This is a kit that comes with everything shown, including shims.
