Is a shorter arm available?

A quick learner from Dover, NH, US says:
Good afternoon!

I purchased this item (39-187) from you and my maintenance guy is saying the 5" arm is about "an inch too long" so I was wondering if there is the same part available but with a 4" arm?

I appreciate your help!

Hello!

I'm afraid we don't carry a version of this operator with a shorter arm but you have a few options. First, you could try installing the new operator and seeing if it works anyways. If it doesn't, you can try re-positioning the stud bracket the link arm connects to and see if that makes up the difference. If all else fails, you can try swapping the old and new link arms. If you're up to the task, drill the link arms out, then use a 62-014 Rivet to connect the old link arm to the new operator.
