Hi, does the 40-049 come in a black finish?

The 40-049 lockset is available in a black finish, we just carry it under a different part number. See our 40-183. This set is made in black and satin chrome.

Is the 40-183 reversible? I have a door from the inside that swings open from the right to the left.

Yes, the 40-183 storm door handle set can work interchangeably for either a left or right hand facing door. The video below will show how.
