I have viewed glazing bead # 55-029 in 3' and 6' lengths. Is specific this particular bead specific to a window brand or is it universal?

The 55-029 glazing bead is not specific to a window brand. Many window manufacturers have used this style of glazing bead over the years.

The smallest portion of the 55-029 you can purchase is (1) 3' length, see the 55-029 product page.
