Is there a dimple half way up pin?

Is the Window Screen Pin - Product Code: 70-195 - "smooth" the full 1-inch from the head of the pin to the end, or is the on-line photo showing a dimple about half way along that 1-inch length?

Yes, there appears to be a small notch (no greater than 1/32") around the circumference of the pin.
