We don't have a video for how to install the 82-080; but the installation is fairly straight forward. Hold the handle set in place on both sides of the door, then fasten the bolts on the side of the inner base plate. For the key lock on the outside pull, you'll want to cut the spindle short enough that it doesn't grind against the tailpiece of the thumb lever, but not so short that it can't interface with the mortise lock. See the video below; this shows how to cut the tailpiece properly for a different lockset. The principles are the same. |
