Is this an egress hinge?

If the back edge of the sash moves to the side of the window opening, it sounds like you have an egress hinge. A typical casement hinge like the 36-004-10 pulls away from the back edge of the window opening to give you access to wash the outside of the window. We do carry a 10" egress hinge, 36-090-10. However, we will need a bit more time to determine if a 14" egress hinge is available. Take a look at the 36-090-10 egress hinge in the meantime, along with the related videos.
Unfortunately, we were not able to locate a 14" version of this egress hinge but we can supply a 13" version, which should work as long as the top and bottom are replaced at the same time. We are working on adding these hinges to our inventory and will let you know as soon as they are available for purchase.
