Is this part wrong?

I ordered a casement operator arm for a window. In the first order, the operator arm was too long. I ordered a second unit, and the operator arm is the correct length, BUT it is mounted 90 degrees away from the window arm. How do I get the correct operator?

Hello there. If I follow correctly, you need the link arm in the correct position, perpendicular to the straight arm. Is that correct? If so, no worries--the replacement operator should work for you. We send these operators with the arms on top of one another because it makes it easier and safer for shipping; you just have to orient the link arm properly.
