Is this the Series 150 spring?

Hi,

I've removed the broken coil spring and taken some pictures / measurements.

The spring is about 12.50mm wide with an 8 stamped on it.

Would series 150 be the correct spring?

Hey there,

Thanks for your post! Your coil balance spring does appear to be a match for the Series 150 Coil Balance. Since it is stamped with an 8, you'll need the S150-8.

Given that the coil has become damaged, it would also be a good idea to take a look at the shoe to determine if it needs to be replaced. Often times, we find that if a coil needs to be replaced then entire assembly is likely to follow.

Happy to help! I'm certain we can provide you with a replacement for the shoe but I'll need to see a photo of the existing shoe to identify it. It would be best to see this removed from the window, especially since you'll also need to have it removed to confirm the measurements.
