Issue with thumb lever on 82-086

I made a purchase of sliding glass door handle a few weeks ago. I went to install it today and while it seems like it should fit it doesn't.

I'm enclosing some pictures of both the old handle and the new handle. The old handle is the white one. The tail ends that go into the actual locking mechanism are not centered between the holes to attach the handle to the door. I was able to move it to the center slot on the exterior handle portion so that the tail is centered between the two screw holes, but on the interior handle, there is no ability to move it.

Did I purchase the wrong item? Do you have the right one?

We don't have a Legacy handle set with a centered thumb latch, unfortunately. I would recommend using our 82-030 instead; the thumb latch on this is adjustable, so you can put it wherever you need it. We also sell the 82-310 key lock separately.
