Issue with screen plunger pins

A home owner from Roswell, GA says:
Part No. 70-008 looks and sounds like a match for the broken plungers for our Caradco window screens. The frame of the screen is about 3/4" wide so the stem beyond the fat part of the plunger needs to be about 1" long. Looks like the handle just snaps on. Most of our problem is that the plastic grips (handles) have broken so we have to grab the plastic shaft with pliers. We need 9 complete items and an additional 15 grips (handles) if your parts are interchangeable.

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Caradco has been known to use our 70-008. Check and see if the tip thickness of your pin matches the 7/32" of our plunger pins. Thanks for posting!
