JELD-WEN TILT LATCH FOR A DOUBLE HUNG WINDOW.

Home Owner from Chantilly, VA
Please find the attached pictures of the broken latches of the windows. One of the picture has details of window. There are 13 windows in our home. Please help us to find the right part for our windows. These windows came with the new home we bought from the builder (Toll Brothers, South Riding, VA). Currently we are sticking packing take between windows to keep them intact from falling and breaking.

I contacted JELD-WEN the manufacturer and they don't carry this part anymore and they suggested your site.

We appreciate your patience. We notice that your window was made by a company named Wenco, a division of Jeld-Wen out of Pennsylvania. We have known customers to be able to use both our 26-243 and 26-244 tilt latches as replacements. Carefully compare your parts to ours to see if these make a good fit for you. I also like to encourage you to take a look at the media guide I placed on this page.

Thanks Mr Paul for your response. Mine is 2004 year model window. Do you think it still fits? Please advise. Soon as I get response from you I can place order latches for all my windows.

Thanks for your help in advance

I'm afraid knowing the year of your window doesn't tell us anything. You'll need to remove an old tilt latch and carefully compare your measurements to those we show for the products I recommended. If they differ in any way, let me know.
