Question

The handle with key on the left sliding door(from inside the house) of the 2-panel sliding door has the latch broken. This glass patio sliding door is by Jeld WenI want to know the replacement part for this and also how easy is it to install this ?

Hey there. This thumb lever can be replaced with the 82-107. The video below shows how to install it. If you just wanted an all new handle set, see the 82-089 or keyed 82-086.

Note that this kind of damage to the thumb lever can indicate that the mortise lock in the door has failed. To see if that's the case, try manually 'throwing' the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, you know the mortise lock also has to be replaced. Send us a photo of it and we'd be happy to help identify it.
