JW sliding glass door handle

Question

The latch on my sliding glass door was sticking frequently and would not latch. Today it snapped off!! Do I need to replace the entire handle or can that piece be replaced separately?

Thanks for posting. Take a look at the 82-107 Latch Lever kit. Compare with your old part and see what you think. Your handle set should be fine; but you might want to check if the mortise lock itself is broken. To do this, remove your handle set and then try manually 'flipping' the mortise lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it cannot flip, then you will need to replace the mortise lock. If it flips fine, then you just need a new lever. Let us know!
