Jalouise Window parts

A quick learner says:
I cannot find any markings on the window or parts. The windows are probably 55 to 60 years old. It is the threads on the piece that attaches the handle to the opener that have worn off. I hope you can help me.

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Is this the entire link arm, or is there a second part still in the window? It would be best to see it as well to narrow this down further, as the shape and size of the hole at the end of the link arm is a final crucial detail to know. Many thanks.

A quick learner says:
I am adding a picture of the second part that is still in the window. The hole is approximately 6/16" in diameter. In the other picture, the window operator arm that is attached has holes (measured from center) that are about 2 11/16" apart. The diameter of the hole is also about 6/16".

Thanks for getting back to me with that link arm. Start by reviewing our 39-419 and 39-420. This set has a similar hole pattern, as well as a larger, 3/8" hole in the link arm, so I suspect this might be the awning operators you need. If not, also consider our 39-074 and 39-075, or our 39-016 and 39-017. Let me know if you have any further questions.

A quick learner says:
There is 1/8" difference in the length of the arm on model # 39-074 and the original that I have. The other measurements are the same. Do you think this will work?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

I don't think that should be an issue. There's usually a bit of play allowed on the arm length of these awning operators. Let me know if you have any other questions.

A quick learner says:
I wanted to let you know the window operators fit and work perfectly. Thank you for your individualized help.

If anyone else is ordering these make sure you keep the original screws from your window because there were no screws included in the replacement parts.

Thank you.
