Jalouise clip

A quick learner from Massachusetts says:
How do these clips install? I have many similar clips holding glass panels (winter),screens (summer) on metal framing on a sun porch. I need to add more as the winds often seem about to blow the panels in. Thanks in advance. Ian

I'm not sure how the 70-200 installs myself; but I'm forwarding this discussion to my senior colleagues, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can with more information.

Hello there. The screw for the 70-200 clip is a special shoulder screw with a #10-32 thread count with a "self tapping cut thread". You will need to drill a 5/32" drill bit. The screw should make its own thread when going into a aluminum frame. Use a little oil when trying to tap the hole with the screw. It might be best to use a regular "Tap" when making the hole, but try using the screw first. See what you think.
