39-005 with longer gear arm?

Hi, I recently bought one 39-005 jalousie crank handle to see if it would fit my old jalousies. The shorter bar (that connects to the gear inside the handle) is 2 1/2" long. My old one has all of the same dimensions, EXCEPT for the length of this bar. Mine are 3 1/2" long. Would you happen to have anything with a longer bar? that I could possible use? This one opened the windows, but couldn't close them all the way due to the shorter length of the bar. Hope you can help! Thanks so much,

We don't really have a 39-005 with a longer gear arm, no. Look at the main window bar that the operator attaches to. Is there more than one hole you can use to connect the link arm? Some windows have this feature. If so, try that and see if that helps.
