Jalousie operator

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm not sure what the issue may be in this case; it looks like you successfully disconnected the arm from the window linkage. There should be nothing left holding it in, unless there's a detail I'm missing in these photos. Can you clarify what exactly is still holding the operator to the window?

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. It looks like the arm was loose in your photo but I might have just misunderstood what I was looking at.

In that case you will need to drill out the rivet connecting it to the hinge in order to remove the operator.

Note that I'm talking about the end of the link arm, which is the long, white, offset arm visible in your second photo. The goal is to disconnect it from the greater window hinge assembly; I thought it looked loose, but if there is a rivet holding it in then drilling is your only option.

Hey there, I thought I'd add my two cents, as well. Looking at your photos I think it could be that the screw sector is just stuck in the hole. Like Tom said before, I don't see any kind of rivet or anything holding the arm to the linkage. I think you just need to use a little elbow grease to pop it off. I would try some lubricant like an oil or a spray in the hole. Then try to pry it out using a flat blade screw driver. 

I think there may be some miscommunication here, so I thought I'd try to clear things up. The specific hole Tom and I are talking about is in the image below. There is no rivet there, I can see right through it. Once the arm is free at this location, and assuming the operator base is unscrewed from the window frame, there should be nothing holding it in place.
