Jamb Spreader Quantity

Question

Is a quantity 1 of 75-069 Jamb Spreader a pair, or do I need to order a quantity of 2? If the latter, are 2 really required (as in the video)?

Also, most of my pivot shoes broke within the first 2 years of when the house was new. Are these replacements any better? Thanks.

Thank you for posting. The 75-069 jamb spreaders come in sets of two. That is, a quantity of one would be two jamb spreaders.

I can't say what would be a better replacement for your old pivot lock shoes. If you'd like, you can upload a few pictures of them here for us to look at.
