Jamb Spreader - Temperature Inquiry

Quick Learner from Michigan
I've got the jamb spreaders to replace shoes in a vinyl window. What temperature would be too cold to safely spread the vinyl channel. The other day it was 5 degrees and I cancelled, but Friday it will be 10-22 (different job). What do you think?

Hello,

In our experience, it is best to schedule this type of project on a warm sunny day with temperatures around 50 or 60 degrees. You don't want to crack the vinyl on a cold day and run into trouble. Thanks for posting.

Thank you very much. I had assumed as much, but thought I'd ask to see if I was just being paranoid. Thanks again.
