James Ray sliding glass patio door handle set replacement

Question

I need a replacement handle set for a James Ray sliding glass patio door just like the number 82-003 except I need one for a 1 1/2" thick door instead of a 1" thick door. I purchased these doors back in 1993 in Wichita, KS. I purchased from Swisco a 82-003 for another door I had that was 1" thick a few years ago.

Hi, Janet. I'm afraid that we don't have a version of the 82-003 that can work for a door that thick. You may still be able to use it but you'd have to reuse the old locking lever and screws.
