Jammed pivot lock shoe on Traco single track

Home Owner from Western Colorado
Hello!

A pivot lock shoe is jammed in the track. I have tried to "unlock" the mechanism with a flat head screw driver and the blue cam just turns but no tension release is noted. I have tried to pry the pivot lock shoe up but I am unable to move the piece even with considerable force. The track itself appears to be bulging slightly where the pivot lock shoe is stuck.

My online search hasn't been too fruitful as of yet.
Thank you for your time and help! Please feel free to recommend tools to make this repair easier as well :)

Hello!

Pivot shoes jamming in the track like this is always tricky. There's a possibility the brake pad is stuck in the extended position which is going to be a problem. You can't really force it out because you might cause damage to the window track.

Our first suggestion is to soak your pivot shoe with WD-40 for a few hours to see if that helps loosen it up. If that still doesn't work then you may want to contact a local professional to come out and see to it.
