Jeld Wen Side Load Balance

Question

Hi. I have a handfulll of Jeld Wen double hung windows. I just wanted to confirm the size and weight limit before I order your parts.

1. I have attached a photo. The glass portion of the windows are 28x35 and 28x29. The attached picture is the exact match to the 28x35 OEM balance (34 3). However, your site shows them as A, B, C, etc. Is the 34 3 equal to your C balance. I have another balance that is a 28 3. Is that also equal to your C balance.

2. Is it required or do you recommend replacing the balances in pairs? It doesn't look like there is a left balance or a right blance distinction.

Hello,

We can supply your replacement balances but it will need to be a custom order due to the extended travel pulley system and unique combination of end attachments. To confirm the correct replacements, we'll need to see another clear, close-up photo of the metal pulley clip.

Also, please note that the metal channels should measure 34-7/8" for the (34 3) stamps and 28-7/8" long for the (28 3) stamps, not including the end fittings. We'll just need to confirm the number of balances you need for each stamp, with the minimum being two of each since it is important to replace both sides at the same time. Thank you.
