Jordan Window latch

Quick Learner from Roseville, CA
Hi,

I have Jordan windows from 1991. Several of the latches have broken. It looks like either 90-005 or 90-009 will work as a replacement. Which one of these will work?

I've attached some pics.

Thanks
Dave

Thanks for posting, Dave! Please see our 90-005 window lock and compare its dimensions to your own hardware. Do you think this might work? If you aren't sure, please let me know what the distance between your screw hole centers is and I can help you from there!

Hi Dave,

Yes, 2 1/4" and 3/8" are the measurements for the Jordan latches. I saw that both 90-005 and 90-009 have these same measurements. Seems like either would work. Is there any real difference between them?

The difference between the 90-005 and 90-009 can be found in the tongues. The 90-005 goes into a plain keeper, or the actual window extrusion, while the 90-009 works with a keeper that has a small centered tooth for it to lock into.

Ok great. Yes it looks like the 90-005 is the one. The tongue just goes into the slot in the window frame itself.

Thanks!
