Jordan Windows 2810F - channel balance has slid to top of window

A quick learner from Tempe, AZ says:
I found your very informative Youtube post at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4g8Z8jkwTk and it looks as if you have what I need to replace my aging (1980s?) Jordan non-tilt window.

My channel balance is labelled 2810F. It looks as if the plastic at the top of the channel balance has degraded due to sunlight, as has the plastic clip on the window. Because of that, the channel balance shoots up to the top of the window.

The plastic at the bottom of the channel balance is fine.

The channel balance itself appears to be 0.6035 in wide. The channel of the sliding window itself is 0.766 in wide, and the inner width of the plastic clip on the sliding window is 0.502in. The sliding window is 30" high, and it appears to travel another 29" up to be fully removed.

Which parts do I need to order? I'll need both sides, as the plastic is gone from both of them. Thank you!

The channel balance is likely either our S351-29 or S390-29. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the heel-to-toe measurement. Compare both balances with your old hardware to see what matches best.

For the Top Sash Guide, start by looking at our 18-199 Jordan guide. See if this matches up.

A quick learner from Tempe, AZ says:
It looks as if my shoe is somewhere in between the S351-29 and S390-29 - it's 1.065" wide at its widest. What is your recommendation?

The 18-199 sash guide looks to be exactly right - I'll be ordering a bunch of those as well.

Thanks again for your assistance!

Looks like the depth is greater than 1", in which case you'd want the S390-29 with a stamp option of 2810. Let me know if you have any other questions.
